Apply Regional Formats to Numbers and Dates Using Smart Columns

Standardize formatting to reduce manual edits, eliminate confusion, and enable global-ready workflows across your monday.com boards.

Inconsistent regional formatting is a silent productivity killer—especially when you’re working across countries or departments.

  • A date like 05/06/2024 could mean May or June depending on the region.
  • Decimal separators like commas vs periods can skew financial data.
  • And manual formatting slows everyone down.

Why It Matters

Getting your formatting right isn’t just about data hygiene—it affects collaboration, automations, and decision-making.

This is especially important for businesses:

  • With international teams
  • In regulated industries like finance or healthcare
  • Relying on automated workflows
