Sync mirror data into native columns for better workflows, automation, and reporting.
Working with mirrored columns in monday.com is great for referencing data across boards—but not all features, automations, or integrations work with mirror columns. If you need mirrored data available in a native format (like numbers, dates, or statuses), doing it manually is tedious and error-prone.
Why It Matters
Keeping mirror column data in sync with a native column ensures you can run formulas, sort, filter, and automate without limitations. It eliminates double work and increases confidence in your reports and workflows.
Real-Life Use Cases
- Project Management: Sync due dates or owners from a master board into your team’s viewable columns
- Reporting: Use formulas or dashboards that don’t support mirror columns
- Automation: Trigger actions based on mirrored data—only possible with native columns
- Audit trails: Create a permanent log of synced info
