How to Set Up Phone Number Verification on Your Board

Step 1: Install Phone Number Verification

Click the button below to install the Phone Number Verification feature.

Step 2: Go to the Desired Board

Navigate to the board that contains the phone column you want to validate.

Step 3: Add Phone Number Verification

• Select the column where you’d like the verification to be applied
  
• Click the three dots (…) at the top right of the column header
  
• From the dropdown, go to Column Extensions
  
• Select Phone Number Verification from the list
  

Step 4: Set the Status Column to Be Used for Verification

Choose a status column that will help trigger the verification rule.
This column will reflect whether the phone number passes or fails validation.

Step 5: Set the Phone Number Verification Column Trigger

Define the logic for when the phone number should be checked:

• Item is created – Trigger validation on new items
  
• Column is changed – Validate when a phone number is edited
  
• Item is moved to any group – Useful for boards structured by region or owner
  
• Status is changed to a specific value – For example, “Ready for Contact”
  

Step 6: Save Your Settings

Click Save to activate the feature. Once live, your phone column will automatically verify new or updated entries against formatting standards.
