Need to have same item on multiple boards?
With VLOOKUP You can synchronize an item and its subitems across multiple boards in both directions, ensuring seamless updates. This two-way synchronization keeps your data aligned and minimizes human errors, making collaboration and tracking more efficient and reliable.
Install VLOOKUP Auto-link item to multiple boards
1. Open your Monday.com account and navigate to your workspace.
2. Click the “App Marketplace” section in the left sidebar.
3. In the search bar at the top, type “VLookup” and press Enter.
4. Locate the VLookup app in the search results and click on it to open the app details page.
5. On the app details page, you will see information about the VLookup app, including its description and features.
6. Click the “Add to Account” button to start the installation process.
7. A pop-up window will appear, asking you to confirm the installation. Review the requested permissions and click on the “Install” button.
Below highlighted in red, are important for the proper functioning of VLookup.
8. Once the installation is complete, you will see a confirmation message indicating that the VLookup app has been successfully installed.
Install item app
Go to the item and click the app icon at the bottom of the navigation.
Then, select “Sync item to multiple boards” app.
Select the board and column values to match
A pop-up will appear, allowing you to select the column values to match.
Click the “Save and Copy” button to apply your changes.
Now, whenever you update the column value in the item source board, the target item’s column value will automatically update as well, and vice versa.
Sync sub-item items across multiple boards
Open the subitem, select the item, and then follow the same steps as above.
You can match column values between subitem items across multiple boards.
