Monday.com link board updates sync with VLookup and Extract.

Monday.com Updates Section allows you and your team to communicate social media style inside an item, keeping all the conversations about a specific task or project in the same place and in context. 

Using Extract, you can extract the updates content, email, sender name, documents and files in separate columns.

And VLookup auto-link your source board (where updates are extracted)  to the target board.

To get started, you’ll need to;

Step 1

Install VLookup and Extract from the Apps Marketplace

Step 2

Add Extract integrations and Automation

Step 3

Set up an automation where creating an item in the source board automatically duplicates it in the target board.

Step 4

Install the VLookup Board View on the target board.
Click on the + icon located below the board title in your source board.

Step 5

Create a recipe by adding the VLookup recipe to your target board and connect the source board.

Currently, whenever an email is extracted by the Extract app, an item is created, and VLookup automatically links the source to the target board.
