Monday.com link board updates sync with VLookup and Extract.

Monday.com Updates Section allows you and your team to communicate social media style inside an item, keeping all the conversations about a specific task or project in the same place and in context. 

Using Extract, you can extract the updates content, email, sender name, documents and files in separate columns.

And VLookup auto-link your source board (where updates are extracted)  to the target board.

To get started, you’ll need to;

• Install VLookup and Extract from the Apps Marketplace
• Go to the board where you want VLookup  to work → Integration center
• Search for VLookup → install  VLookup integration
• Repeat the same process when installing Extract integration

Create a recipe

• Go to the target board, navigate to VLookup edit view → click “Add New Auto-Link” button to create a recipe
• Locate subitems source board and subitems target board
• Select the source key and source values you want to link
• Click Save button
